We Aim to Provide a Safe and Healthy School Environment
Durango Academy prioritizes the well-being of every student, providing basic medical care, therapy, counseling, and spiritual support during and after school.
Focus On Guidance
We have a counselor and therapist for every 100 students, providing the academic and mental guidance needed for happy and confident students.
Religious Support
Us at Durango Academy fully support any and all religions. We have a multi-faith chapel that aims to provide a safe place for anyone to connect with their beliefs, no matter what they support.
We also allow volunteer chaplains from numerous religious groups to help provide guidance to students who seek their help. The Buddhist Meditation Group, Durango Christian Church, First Baptist Church, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Providence Presbyterian Church are all local religious groups who often volunteer as chaplains.
This service is by no means mandatory for any student, nor does it provide any academic gain.
