Professor Qualifications

We only accept the best to teach the next generation at Durango Academy. Therefore, we require our professors to have:

Academic Professor Requirements

  • A master's degree at a top 20 education program in the US
  • A bachelor's degree in the subject they apply to teach
  • A 3.5+ college GPA
  • 2+ years of experience in education

 

Trade Professor Requirements

  • Certification in the trade they apply to teach
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • A 3.0+ college GPA
  • 5+ years of experience in their trade
  • 2+ years of experience in education
